According to media reports, Sevilla will pay around 10 million euros (13.2 million dollars) for the 26-year-old forward.
Sevilla, who finished ninth in La Liga last season, have been looking to strengthen their attack since selling Spain strikers Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas to Manchester City.
Sevilla also said Wednesday that they have loaned defender Alberto Botia to newly-promoted Elche.
