Lille midfielder, Sofiane Boufal, has revealed that he may depart the French Ligue 1 side this summer, with reported interest from elsewhere playing on the mind of the 22-year-old.
The Moroccan has impressed for the top-flight side, ever since signing from fellow French side Angers in January 2015 for £2.5m – and has subsequently attracted transfer speculation from across the channel, as Premier League sides ready their bids in preparation.
Reports in France suggest that Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all ready to do battle for the highly rated player.
Boufal himself commented on his future, by stating to L’ Equipe: “The club has been clear about the possibility of me leaving, I don’t think that there are any problems.
“It’s true that there is a good chance that I will leave in the summer.
“My objective is to improve, and I can only do that by playing, I don’t want to clip my wings. I won’t exclude any options.
“Every player has the objective of making it as high as possible.”
