The Swansea left-back has been reportedly tracked by Tottenham for weeks and now they have agreed a fee with the Welsh club upwards of £8m for the 21-year-old before he sings for the London side.
The news comes after Liverpool tried to beat Spurs to the signing of the defender as the Reds made a late offer for Davies earlier this week.
The player was thought to be joining Brenden Rodgers’ side but was notably concerned that he would be competing for first team football with fellow target Alberto Moreno, who is known to be long admired by Rodgers.
Swansea are reportedly looking to secure around the region of £12m for Davies, a fee Liverpool are thought to be unwilling to meet, which would leave Spurs in pole position to sign the Welshman as the transfer window begins to hot up.
