Young Liverpool prodigy, Raheem Sterling, is still yet to put pen to paper on a new Liverpool contract.

Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, is hoping to tie-up Sterling to a long-term deal after an impressive first half of the season from the striker.

However, after rejecting a ÂŁ70,000-a-week deal at the end of 2014, the England international has reportedly turned down a new Anfield offer of ÂŁ100,000-a-week.

Sterling is deemed to be holding out for a more lucrative pay package, but Real Madrid and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the progression of his contract talks.

The 20-year old has scored seven goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this campaign.
