Manchester United have began negotiations with Arturo Vidal’s agent regarding a transfer from Juventus to Old Trafford.
Recently appointed manager Louis Van Gaal had previously met with Vidal and his agent in Brazil, as Van Gaal is currently at the World Cup managing the Dutch squad, and is keen to get a deal dine quickly.
Italian Newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that ‘negotiations are well underway’ in an attempt to prize Vidal away from Turin.
The Chile midfielder impressed at the World Cup finals for the South American country, which caught Van Gaal’s eye, hence a proposed bid being made in the coming days and weeks.
It is likely that Juventus will demand around £62 million for the versatile midfielder.
