Thibaut Courtois sends title-warning to team-mates

Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has urged his team-mates to remain focused insisting that the title-race isn’t over yet.

The Blues are already eight points clear of last-year’s champions, Manchester City, and sit four points clear of second-placed, Southampton, after their unbeaten start to the season which has seen them draw only two games.

After their rapid start and their rival’s slip-ups, Jose Mourinho’s men are firm favourites for the Premier League title already, with several figures suggesting that the so-called ‘title race’ is already nearing it’s finale.

However, Courtois doesn’t believe that is the case and the Belgium has urged his team-mates to remain focused and get the job done professionally.

Courtois said: “We are working game by game, but we don’t have the title in the bag. The Premier League is very difficult and hard.

“We are trying to win with every game that is possible. But there will be a still a long way to win the title. We are working hard. And hopefully that will be enough.”
