Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes announced last spring that he was going to leave at the end of his current contract that expires in June 2014.
“My time here is over, they have offered me a contract-extension but I don’t care. I’m seeking new challenges in a new league. For me it’s also about to live in another place with my family.”, he said to Antena3.
At the age of 31, Valdes has spent his youth and his entire pro career at the Nou Camp.
