9. David Busst
David Busst is a former English footballer who is currently the community manager for Coventry City, the former Coventry player is well known for that horrific injury which occurred against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 1996, just two minutes into the game Coventry City won a corner and defender David Busst went up to join attack to the corner.
As he went for the loose ball David Busst was seriously crippled by two tackles from United players Brian McClair and Denis Irwin, which result into fractures of David’s fibula and tibia of his right leg. The injury was so horrifying that Red Devils keeper Peter Schmeichel vomited on the spot and it took about 12 minutes to get the blood out of the pitch so that the match could continue.
