This was the day people started to believe that Leicester could become champions. The Etihad crowd stared in shock as the Foxes put themselves 3-0 up after an hour. Sergio Aguero got a late consolation goal for City, but this was the start of a shocking decline that saw Manchester City drop out of the title race and almost drop out of the top 4, too. It was no coincedence that their collapse in the second half of the season coincided with the announcement that Manuel Pelligrini would depart the club at the end of the season.
