Goalkeeper may never return to Man City

Torino are looking to keep Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart until at least the 2018 World Cup.

Hart was shipped out by Pep Guardiola on loan at the beginning of this season, but now that loan in Italy could be extended.

It’s thought Torino have been impressed by Hart, and want to keep him for at least another season.

Torino chairman Urbano Cairo has discussed Hart’s future with sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

It’s thought they have already contacted Hart’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, about the potential for another extension.

The Italian club want a long-term loan deal the situation with Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczęsny at Roma, as they cannot afford a permanent transfer.

Hart, who turns 30 next April, is under contract in Manchester until 2019.

Torino are seventh in Serie A and their aim for this season is to qualify for the Champions League.
