Newcastle and Brighton keen on Ruben.
21-year-old Loftus-Cheek has had trouble breaking into the Blues first team and it seems he’s again the subject of a move away
Last season he only managed to get 31 Premier League minutes in just six sub appearances, Â only appearing in 11 matches in all competitions.
Ruben’s contract runs until 2021, but with little hope of establishing as a starter for Antonio Conte the midfielder could leave west London this summer.
Both Newcastle and Brighton would offer the young Englishman the chance to shine in the Premier League.
It’s not clear as yet whether he’d move to either St James’ Park or the AmEx Arena in a permanent or in a loan move.
So far Brighton have signed Pascal Gross, Josh Kerr and Mathew Ryan this summer.
As for Newcastle, they’ve signed Christian Atsu and Florian Lejeune.
