Manchester United are ready to make an offer for Colombian star Juan Cuadrado in the coming days.
Van Gaal is said to be willing to offer up to £30m to bring the winger to Old Trafford, despite heavy interest from Barcelona.
Cuadrado’s club Fiorentina have admitted that is may be the right time to allow their player to leave, after some impressive World Cup performances in Brazil this summer.
However, United would have to pay a fair price to capture the star man, with Barcelona currently leading the race to sign the player.
United are yet to add to their squad since Louis van Gaal first met up with his players after the World Cup finished.
