Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk has revealed he’s extremely keen about the prospect of a move to the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger wants to bring in quality defenders and Van Dijk is among one of his top targets to improve a back four that has only kept one Premier League clean sheet this season.
Wenger has reportedly sent scouts to monitor van Dijk’s recent performances.
Van Dijk had nothing but praise for the Gunners. “Arsenal is an amazing club, of course. It’s a big club with a great history as well.”
The 23 year old Dutchman was heavily linked with a move across the border in the summer, with Southampton and Sunderland among the clubs interested.
He is valued at around £8 million.
