Cesc Fabregas just could not contain his excitement as Chelsea scored a late one to seal a fifth Premier League title win.
The Spain international was interviewed moments after the final whistle, and had to be reprimanded by Sky Sports’ Geoff Shrieves for dropping the f-bomb live on air.
It had been a challenging evening for the blues as they struggled for to break West Brom down, but a late goal from Michy sorted that right out, to which Fabregas made reference to in his interview before describing Batshuayi’s late goal as ‘f*cking unbelievable’.
‘This is the beauty of football,’ he said. ‘A player who didn’t play a lot, everyone thought maybe he doesn’t come to much, but then he scored the winning goal for the championship. I mean … football is f*cking unbelievable.’
Following that excited outburst from Cesc, Antonio Conte paid an amazing tribute to his squad.
It was clear from the video below that Fabregas was clearly delighted to be picking up a winners’ medal for the second time in his career.
