David Wagner has refused to accept that Huddersfield Town are doomed to relegation.

The Terriers are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table and are set to face the relegation battle this season.

Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has refused to accept that his side are doomed to relegation as of yet. The Terriers have endured a tough time in the Premier League this season and are currently lying at the bottom of the league table with only two wins to their name so far.

However, speaking to the media, their manager has denied seeing themselves face the dreaded possibility of relegation by the end of the season. He said, “This is exactly what makes it so exciting. To be the first one, to beat the statistics.”

He added, “This is exactly what we have done a few times in the last few years. This is why we do this job, to be the first one who will do something that nobody has done before. We know how difficult this task is. Obviously it’s so difficult nobody has done it before, but this doesn’t change that we have our plan, our schedule until the end of the season. We have to make ourselves independent from the statistics, even if they are the truth.”
