Hornets have £7million bid accepted
Premier League new boys Watford, have had their club record bid of £7m accepted by Genoa for winger Diego Perotti.
Watford have been keen to sign 26 year-old Argentine and showed it as they smashed their previous club record bid of £3.25m to bring the player to Vicarige Road.
Perotti looks set to join Lithuania goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis and Austria defender Sebastian Prodl, who have already made the switch to England’s top flight.
Perotti was also part of the Sevilla side which lifted the Europa League last year and also won the Spanish Cup during his eight year spell with the side.
The winger has been capped two times for Argentina and could prove vital for new Hornets boss Quique Sanchez‘s bid to stay in the Premier League.
