According to Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, The Reds can boast the best strike partnership in world football.
Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have been stealing headlines week-in, week-out so far, but there has still been much debate about who has the best strike partnership, with many people saying Manchester City’s Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero is still the best around.
However, others still claim Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie should be considered as the best strike-partnership, but according to Belgium shot-stopper Mignolet, it is Liverpool that have the best duo up front.
“I come across them every day in training and I don’t think there is a better partnership than the two of them,” said Mignolet
“They can produce a lot of goals and hopefully they can keep doing that.
“We know what Daniel can do for us, he can score goals. He came on at the weekend and luckily he was there to equalise.”
In the Premier League alone, Suarez and Sturridge have scored nine goals each, just one behind City’s Aguero.
