Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is confident that the team will put things right on Wednesday night when they face Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners were thrashed 5-1 by Liverpool on Saturday and conceded four of those goals inside the first 20-minutes as The Reds ran rampant at Anfield.
Szczesny couldn’t do much about the five goals that flashed past him, but there were several questions raised about the defending of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.
Luckily for Arsene Wenger’s side, they don’t have long to rest on that result as they are back in action tomorrow night against a struggling David Moyes side, and Arsenal’s Polish shot-stopper is confident they’ll put things right.
“We represent one of the biggest clubs in the world and what we did early on is not acceptable.
“We said that at half-time, we went out in the second half with a different attitude and it was much more of an even game.
“But as I said, we will learn our lesson from this and respond quickly against Man United.”
