Arsene Wenger has hit out at critics after allowing his Arsenal players two days off last week.
Wenger allowed his title chasing side two days off following their emphatic 4-1 win against Sunderland, at the Emirates last Saturday.
Many of the squad left the country, with the likes of Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil returning home to Germany.
When asked in his press conference, Wenger stated….
“I don’t see why that suddenly is a problem,” he said. “Many clubs have two days off sometimes.
“We’ve played since the beginning of December so we don’t have to justify here why we have two days off.
It’s unbelievable,” Wenger added. “Look we are in a society where everybody wants to control everything. I don’t understand this question.
