Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has contacted Real Madrid assistant coach Zinedine Zidance in a despairing attempt to seal a deal for striker Alvaro Morata.
Wenger has been unable to agree any sort of deal for some time now and has grown in frustration with Madrid’s asking price of £25 million pounds.
This price tag has also put-off potential buyers Juventus who were thought to be leading the race for the Spanish striker by some way.
Wenger has contacted Zidane in an attempt to help get the deal across the line as Wenger wants to deal done potentially before Juventus take the upper hand.
