Sakho could make way for Bou this summer

West Ham are tracking 26-year-old Racing Club forward Gustavo Bou, with the player valued at £9 million following a prolific goalscoring campaign.

Striker Diafra Sakho is reportedly unhappy at the club, and could be on his way out this summer, as Slaven Bilic turns his attention to the South American, who also caught the attention of Chinese side Beijing Guoan.

The forward was left disappointed he could not make a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League at the end of February, when Racing denied him a move to the Beijing side. But he has since been promised a move this summer.

Manuel Lanzini recently signed a new deal with the Hammers, and that is seen as a big coup in order to tempt the Argetine to the Hammers’ new home, the Olympic Stadium, next season.

Scouted

West Ham have reportedly sent scouts to watch Bou on several occasions this season, after hitting 43 goals in 50 appearances.

But the east London club won’t be able to match the wages the Argentine is currently on, but believe they will be able to lure him to the Premier League anyway.

Mauro Zarate was successfully poached from Argentina in 2014, before moving to Fiorentina in Serie A during the January transfer window, so West Ham will be confident of returning to South America and coming away with another top talent.
