Yaya Sanogo looks set to leave Arsenal this January on loan in pursuit of first-team football. He has fallen behind Olivier Giroud and Danny welbeck in the Gunners striking pecking order and it looks like he’ll be sent out to another club on a short-term basis to gain some first-team action.
It also seems likely that he will be sent out on loan to another top flight Premier League club so that he gains more experience of English ftotball’s top league.
The Frenchman was signed from Auxerre back in 2013 and he has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal. Earlier in the season he acted as a back-up to Danny Welbeck, when Giroud was out injured. However, now that his fellow Frenchman has recovered, he has found himself lacking playing time.
Because of this, he will now be shipped out on loan to help him gain some valuable match action.
