Major League Soocer side LA Galaxy front-runner to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Sources have told ESPN FC that Zlatan has played his last game for Manchester United and is set to move to Major League Soccer.LA Galaxy are currently linked to sign the Swedish Striker,who have held a long term interest in him.
Zlatan who is 36 now,is determined to continue his career after returning from a serious knee injury at united earlier this season.With only 4 months remaining in his contract and sources have told ESPN FC that Mourinho is willing to let Zlatan leave now in order to sign for a MLS Club.
United’s £90 million purchase of Romelu Lukaku last summer pushed Ibrahimovic to the sidelines at Old Trafford, and he is now set to call time on his Premier League career, with an announcement on his future expected before the end of the week.
Zlatan joined United on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2016.He had an impressive debut season for United winning two major silverware with them.He scored 29 goals in 53 appearances for United, including two in the EFL Cup final win against Southampton last season.
He sustained serious ligament damage to his right knee against Anderlecht last season which ruled him out for for rest of the season.He last appeared in the home draw against Burnley on Dec 26 and has scored only goal of this season against Bristol City in 2-1 loss in the Quarter Final of EFL Cup.
