Man United will travel to the Emirates Stadium in the hope of gaining a vital three points in their battle for a top four spot

Team News, Predictions, Previews, Live free streams and Starting Line-ups for Arsenal vs Man United.

Arsenal and Man United are both desperate to try and finish in the elusive top four spots at the end of the season and this match could prove vital in both sides pursuit of Champions League football.

Arsenal are currently sat in sixth, which shows just how up and down their season has been so far. The Gunners are six points off Man City in fourth place but, unlike most of the teams around them, they still have five games left to play.

A Europa League spot is certainly a realistic goal for the club to achieve but Arsene Wenger won’t be happy with that and will be desperate to get his side into the top four again. However, it’s a big ask and they’ll need a win here to have any hopes of achieving that goal.

Man United are slightly closer to a top four finish. They’re sat just about Arsenal in fifth and are one point off fourth-place.

Securing a Champions League spot is still very doable for the Red Devils and a win against their rivals here would go a long way to helping them jump into one of those spots and further themselves from the Gunners, who are trailing behind them.

Arsenal vs Man United Key Stat

A key stat for this game is one that will fill Man United fans with hope – they are unbeaten in their last 25 matches in the Premier League.

Although not all of those results have been wins, with a high number being draws, it will fill the Red Devils with confidence that they can travel to the Emirates Stadium and come back with at least a point.

Arsenal will want to put an end to this long undefeated streak and could very well do it at home and with the club in desperate need of a win.

The Gunners, if on form, could certainly claim the victory but Jose Mourinho’s men will no doubt be giving it their all yet again.

Arsenal vs Man United Predicted Line-Ups

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi could return to the squad, as he is now back in full training but might not start the game.

Granit Xhaka though will certainly miss out through injury, while Santi Cazorla remains sidelined and Lucas Perez is also out with a knock.

Man United have suffered with a lot of injuries over the past few months and are likely to have a depleted squad for this game. Zlatan Ibrhaimovic is out of action, as is Luke Shaw, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Marcos Rojo.

Several other players have suffered with knocks, like Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly. However, they are in contention to start again – although Jose Mourinho might decide to rest several key players in favour of using them in the Europa League.

Arsenal predicted line-up vs Man United: Cech, Gabriel, Monreal, Koscielny, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gibbs, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud.

Man United predicted line-up vs Arsenal: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Darmian, Carrick, Herrera, Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford.

Arsenal vs Man United – Key Players

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) – Sanchez may have had a lacklustre last two games but he’ll be determined to right the wrongs of his side’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham last week against United.

The Chile international has been in fine form for the Gunners this year, banging in 24 goals in all competitions and also nabbing 12 assists for his club in all competitions too.

He can create opportunities for his teammates and score himself and he is one of those players that, if he grabs hold of a game, can help his team control a match and swing it in their favour.

Capable of moments of brilliance, the Gunners will be hoping he has a few of them on Sunday. If he does, then Arsene Wenger’s side could secure victory.

Ander Herrera (Man United) – The midfielder has been an underrated presence in the middle of Man United’s midfield so far this season.

He has continually put in some hard-working shifts in the middle of the pitch for his club, contributing both defensively and in attack and constantly being on the go.

He can be a pain in most opposition’s side, as Chelsea, the league leaders, found out a few weeks ago. If he puts in another performance like that, then Arsenal are likely to be in for a rough afternoon.

Herrera could run Arsenal ragged and if he can help his side control the game from the midfield, then he could also be the one to help his side claim a win and a valuable three points.

Arsenal vs Man United SS Prediction

Man United have been an extremely hard side to beat this season – but they’ve also been a side that has failed to turn draws into wins too.

The Red Devils are currently on a great run of form but they have a massively depleted side due to injuries, meaning the side they put out against Arsenal is likely to not be a full-strength side – especially when you also consider they have the Europa League to think about too.

Arsenal haven’t had the greatest season compared to their usual standards but they are still in with a shout of the top four and are still capable of turning it around and getting a Champions League spot – but they’ll need a win here.

The Gunners are likely to go for the win and with a strong side, and if the likes of Sanchez and Ozil are on form, it will be hard to keep Arsene Wenger’s men from taking the game.

However, I do feel that this will be a close one and believe this game could see the spoils shared by both teams involved.

Arsenal vs Man United Score Prediction: 1-1 draw.
