Liverpool are undefeated in their last seven Premier League games.
The Reds will be desperate to extend that run to eight games against Palace this weekend and they have every chance to do so. The Reds do tend to struggle with sides who are lower down in the Premier League but the club cannot afford any more slip-ups if they want to keep a grasp on the top four.
However, they’re on a decent run of form and with the likes of Phillipe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino available and in good goalscoring form, they should be able to continue the run.
Palace though won’t make it easy for them. They too are on a decent run, losing just one of their last six Prem games.

Liverpool are likely to still be without Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana, as well as Sadio Mane and Ragnar Klavan, which are all rather big losses. However, they still have the likes of Coutinho and Firmino available to select so should be able to cope.
Palace will not be able to play Mamadou Sakho as he is ineligible against the Reds. Connor Wickham is still not available.

Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) – The Brazilian has had a superb season so far for the Reds and he could influence the way that the game goes. He’s the second top goalscorer at the club so far this season and has been tremendous in attack, helping his side score the most goals in the Premier League so far this season.
Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace) – The former Liverpool man could be back to haunt his old club here. The striker has bagged 12 goals for Palace so far this campaign – he’s the top scorer at the club – and is a constant threat in the air and from set-pieces. If Liverpool let him get the ball too much, then they could be made to pay.

This game certainly won’t be a walk in the park for the Reds but I still expect them to get the win. Although they haven’t had the greatest record against teams lower down in the league, we’re getting to a crucial point in the season and the Reds will be desperate to pick up three points.
Palace are more than capable of pulling off an upset, as shown against Arsenal last week. However, I think Liverpool will be a bit too much for them.
