Alex Telles’ agent feels that the Brazilian would be a good fit for Premier League champions Chelsea
He believes the full-back will play for Chelsea “one day” but says there is yet to be any official offer from the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Reports have been saying the Blues could be set to make an offer for the Porto star this summer as Antonio Conte looks to boost up his defensive line ahead of next season.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players this summer but the Blues so far haven’t completed any official signings ahead of next season.
Telles’ agent has now spoken out about the reported interest from Chelsea and says he knows nothing about a possible move to Stamford Bridge for the Brazilian.
However, he does feel that his client would be a good fit for the Premier League champions – either this summer or next.
Agent Fernando Otto told Sport Witness: “For now, we have nothing. Not from Chelsea. Neither me nor the player received any contact, from any English club. But it can happen because the market opens tomorrow.
“When he went to Galatasaray, we had an offer from Chelsea for Alex. But at the time, we had already confirmed a pre-contract with Galatasaray, and we could not go back.
“But there was information exchange, last year too. And I believe that maybe one day he will play for Chelsea. I don’t know if it’s going to be this season or the next. But I feel like one day he can play for Chelsea.”
