Alexis Sanchez has decided he wants to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window as he favours a move to Sevilla.
The Chile international has been one of Arsene Wenger’s best players this season but reports suggest he has become frustrated with the lack of progress at the club.
Starsport claim Sanchez has now made hup his mind that he is ready to exit the Emirates Stadium and will try to force a switch to Spanish giants Sevilla at the end of the season.
It is understood that Jorge Sampaoli is the main reason he prefers a move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, with the Sevilla boss having previously managed Sanchez with Chile.
The report also suggests Sanchez’s teammates at Arsenal already know that he wants to leave and Sanchez has not kept it quiet.
Sampaoli has quickly become a fans favourite in Spain since taking the managerial role at Sevilla last summer, with the club currently in third place in the La Liga table.
Real Madrid are three points above Sevilla and also have a game in hand over Sampaoli’s outfit.
