Five players set to make returns against AFC Bournemouth

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is expected to welcome FIVE players back to his first-team against AFC Bournemouth this weekend, with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to most noticeable option.

The goalkeeper has been absent for three months following knee surgery, but after returning to first-team training two weeks ago, he could be in line to start against Eddie Howe‘s men this weekend.

Asmir Begovic has kept guard in Courtois‘ absence, but the Belgian is expected to make a swift return to the first-team once he’s fully recovered.

Four Others Returning

As well as Courtois returning, Chelsea should welcome back John Terry, Radamel Falcao and Ramires as the trio all look set to be fit in time to face the Cherries.

Another returnee is expected to be Loic Remy, who should be available for selection following the birth of his child. The Frenchman missed Sunday’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur in order to be with his partner.

This could be the first time all season that Mourinho has a full-squad to pick from.
