Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is desperate to complete unfinished business at Chelsea.

The Belgium international is determined to prove himself at Stamford Bridge after failing to impress in a three-year stint between 2011 and 2014 under old manager Jose Mourinho.

The Sun on Sunday report that the 23-year-old is hopeful that a move to the London club can still go ahead, despite the Blues already signed international team-mate and forward Michy Batshuayi from French side Marseille.

Lukaku netted 25 goals in 46 appearances for Everton last campaign, but failed to score in the final ten games of the season and was a factor in the sacking of then manager Roberto Martinez.

The Sun also state new Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is accepting the fact that his star striker wants out of Goodison Park and is currently on the search for a replacement should in case Chelsea meet Everton’s asking price.

The Merseyside club have slapped a £75million price-tag on Lukaku according to the Daily Mail, which may put Chelsea off buying him.
