AS Roma star has £31million clause in his contract

Chelsea have found out that AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has a £31million release clause in his contract.

The Bosnian international is a reported transfer target of the Blues, with Antonio Conte keen to take him to Stamford Bridge with him once he’s hired as manager.

Conte is heavily expected to be announced as the new Chelsea boss by the end of the month, and he’s already planning transfers for the Premier League outfit.

Pjanic is one player he especially wants to sign for Chelsea, and the club have been informed that he has a £31m release clause in his contract.

Deal In Place

According to reports, Chelsea officials are already putting together a contract for the midfielder, believed to be worth around £60k-a-week.

It’s claimed that Chelsea director and lead negotiator Marina Granovskaia has already got in touch with officials from Roma regarding a potential summer deal.

The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals so far this season for Roma, providing nine assists as well.
