Mino Raiola discusses Premier League interest in goalkeeper
The agent of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has responded to transfer speculation linking the starlet with a move to the Premier League.
The 17-year-old has broken into the AC Milan first-team this season, and his performances have already caught the eye of both Chelsea and Manchester United, who are ready to spend big on the teenager.
Donnarumma is already being tipped to become the next Gianluigi Buffon, and his agent has admitted that he would spend £30million in order to buy him.
The ‘keeper has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and United interested, and with Milan currently suffering financially, they could end up selling him on the cheap.
Agent Responds
Speaking about the ‘keeper, Raiola said: “For me it proves nothing, if there was a similar offer it was evidently presented to Milan.
“But I don’t know anything about this story. But if it’s true that there’s an offer of €38m (£30m), well I’d invest that money in signing Gigione.”
