Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho, Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers, Hull City’s Steve Bruce and West Ham United’s Sam Allardyce have all been nominated for February’s Manger of the Month award.
The four managers enjoyed a good month with their clubs, and they will now be awaiting the news to hear who has won the accolade.
For Chelsea, they won three out of their four Premier League games, including an impressive 1-0 away win at Manchester City, and also picked up a draw away at Galatasaray in the Champions League last-16 first leg.
Liverpool also picked up three wins from their four league games in February and that included their whopping 5-1 victory over Arsenal at Anfield. The month has left them second in the Premier League, behind Chelsea.
Steve Bruce has been nominated for guiding Hull City to an FA Cup Semi-Final at Wembley after they saw off Sunderland in the Quarter-Final. Their league form has also been impressive as they picked up seven points from four games.
Before February started, West Ham were destined for relegation, but four wins from four saw Allardyce’s men leap-frog all the way up to tenth in the table. The Hammers scored nine goals in their four games and only conceded one.
For Player of the Month, Liverpool duo Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling have been nominated, as have West Ham skipper Kevin Nolan and Chelsea trickster Eden Hazard.
Sturridge and Hazard are both high up in the Premier League top goal scorers list, sitting in 2nd and 4th spot.
As for Nolan, he managed to score five times in four games throughout February, and Sterling was in impressive form for The Reds as well, scoring a brace against Arsenal and scoring just moments after coming on against Swansea City.
