While things are running smoothly for Manchester City in their title chase, all doesn’t seem well when it comes to Sergio Aguero at the club.
According to a report in Marca, Aguero’s cold relationship with Pep Guardiola could lead to his exit from the club, having lost his position as a permanent starter like he was a few years back.
And according to Goal.com, the Argentinian seems to be frustrated by Guardiola’s rotation policy, and feels that he has been treated unfairly. He was left out of City’s team in their 2-1 victory in the Manchester derby, and was seen throwing his gloves in disgust when he was substituted before the hour mark against Tottenham.
An unhappy Aguero had, during pre-season, met with City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to express his feelings about Guardiola, but was given assurance that he will get ample playing time under Guardiola at City, a club where he has been playing since 2011.
