Manchester United are finally prepared to part ways with goalkeeper, David De Gea, as links to Real Madrid continue to develop.
The Spaniard has been United’s stand-out players for two seasons now and has caught the eye of the Spanish giants who see him as the ideal long-term Iker Casillas replacement.
Despite his former-days at Atletico Madrid, De Gea is interested in a mega-money move to Madrid and could make the move as soon as this Summer with United ready to cash in on the 24-year-old.
However, United will only sell De Gea if they manage to get Welshman, Gareth Bale, in return as part of a player-swap deal.
Jorge Mendes, an agent who works very closely with both sides, is now tasked with setting the deal up and getting it finalised for both teams to agree.
