Manchester United are keen on signing Torino striker and Arsenal target Andrea Belotti ahead of the summer transfer window.
Jose Mourinho’s side are known to be after bringing in another big-name striker in the summer, with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann being their priority target for that specific role.
However, the Red Devils have also sent scouts to watch Belotti in the Serie A, with the Italy international already scoring 19 goals thus far in all competitions this term which has seen him attract a hot of top clubs around the world.
Arsenal have previously been rumoured in being the favourites to sign the 23-year-old, with Spanish giants Real Madrid also interested.
United are chasing the frontman’s situation up after closely monitoring the player in recent weeks, though the move could be an expensive one for the club, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Belotti signed a contract extension with Torino earlier this season, which includes a buy-out clause of £84million which is not much less than what United paid Italian giants Juventus for Paul Pogba in the last summer transfer window.
