According to ESPN, Monaco are favourites to sign Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi
Batshuayi is keen for more playing time next season after not featuring often for Chelsea during this season’s Premier League winning campaign.
The Blues paid around £33m to sign the Belgium international from Marseille last summer, however, it’s only going to get tougher for him next seasonnext season with Romelu Lukaku reportedly set to return to the club.
West Ham are thought to be interested in the 23-year-old having missed out on his signature to Chelsea 12 months ago but Monaco, who can offer Champions League football, are ready to hand Batshuayi a return to France.
Diego Costa now on his way out of the club after that text message from Conte and Batshuayi’s future may not be settled until later on in the summer as Conte looks to sort out his squad for the return of European football next season.
