Palermo frontman Paulo Dybala has raised eybrows about a possible switch to Serie A rivals.

Dybala, 21, has been linked with a move to England in the Premier League for months with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring the forward.

The young Argentine has hinted that he would like to stay in Italy for another couple of seasons, with Italian giants Juventus being favourites to sign him.

However, whichever club wants the goal-scorer will have to pay a large amount as Palermo president Mauro Zamparini wants at least £28million for the in-demand forward.

Dybala said: “I love Italy. This is the country that made me famous and I would love to stay in Serie A.

“There are some big teams out there who don’t play in Champions League and I can’t deny that I’d love to play in Europe’s most prestigious competition.” he added.

The striker confessed that he would love to play alongside a ‘genius’ such as Juve midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

He said: “It’s a lot easier for a striker when you have a playmaker like Pirlo behind you.

“He makes even the most difficult things look easy.

“His genius was plain to see against Monaco in the Champions League. His pass eventually led to the penalty. Obviously Alvaro Morata played a role in it, but the move all started with Pirlo.” he continued.
