FC Barcelona star could be a Manchester United play come tomorrow evening

Manchester United could be just 24-hours away from completing the signing of Pedro from FC Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

It emerged yesterday that officials from Old Trafford were to fly over to Spain in order to hold talks with the La Liga giants and also with Pedro‘s representatives, and the deal could be agreed by the end of tomorrow.

With Pedro now having a release clause worth just £22million, United are hopeful they can secure the transfer fee with the Spanish champions, and then discuss personal terms with the winger in order to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.

Pedro In/Di Maria Out

United are resigned to losing Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain for around ÂŁ44m, ÂŁ16m less than what they signed him for this time last year, and Louis Van Gaal wants Pedro to come in as a suitable replacement.

The news will come as blows to Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool who have all been linked with the 28-year-old throughout his career, but it looks like Old Trafford is his next destination.

According to reports, Pedro has already agreed terms on a four-year deal and all that is left is for a deal between the two clubs to be met, despite the winger having a release clause in his contract.

United are reportedly trying to get the Barca star for cheaper than his clause, and are reportedly offering ÂŁ18m.
