Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Thomas Meunier has, yet again, hinted at a move to Manchester United in the near future.
The Belgian international had, earlier this year, revealed that he dreams of playing for United one day and seems to have made Jose Mourinho interested, who is said to be willing to shell £30million to avail his services.
The 26-year-old had openly admitted in October that he has been disappointed by the lack of playing time he had been getting.
“Yes [I am frustrated] because I want to play every match, whether it’s against Gueugnon, Niort or Bayern Munich. I want to be on the pitch every time. I am in a team which is one of the top five in the world where the back-ups and the starters are about the same level.”
He dropped another hint recently, during a Twitter exchange with Christian Kabasele, who linked Meunier to Utd on the Football Manager game.
Kabasele said “Congratulations @ThomMills”, including a picture of the £32.6million transfer to United.
Meunier replied in French: “Olala a nice contract”, to which Kabasele said: “We know where the rumours came from now.”
