Shaka Hislop is backing the Blue’s reported pursuit of Alex Sandro
He says the full-back would be a “perfect fit” at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the Juventus full-back as reports say Antonio Conte is looking to strengthen his squad with Chelsea’s first summer signing.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with a whole host of other players this summer, however, the Blues have not yet been able to finalise any deals as yet.
Conte is thought to be keen to add more options at full-back this summer and has reportedly identified Sandro as the perfect signing.
And former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has said that Sandro would be a great signing for the Stamford Bridge side this summer.
Hislop told ESPN FC: “Without question (Chelsea should go in for him).
“Alex Sandro is a perfect fit for anybody and I’ll say this unapologetically, Alex Sandro on my money is the second best left-back in world football. Second only behind Brazilian team-mate Marcelo.
“This is an incredible acquisition if indeed Chelsea are able to finalise a deal and get his signature. Perfect fit without question.”
