Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri has hit back at Bayern Munich claims that he is not for sale.
Shaqiri has been a Liverpool target for some time now, and Brendan Rodgers wants him to replace Luis Suarez, who left for Barcelona for a club-record £75million. However, a move to Anfield appeared to be in doubt when Bayern’s sporting director Mattias Sammer ruled out a sale.
“Xherdan is an important player for the future,” Sammer said. “There are no thoughts at all about selling him.”
But now the Swiss has hinted he could move after all on his Twitter account, Tweeting.”I live in the present, not in the future,”
