Club legend will go and train and Melwood
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has confirmed he will be returning to the club, but only to train with the first-team.
The midfielder left Anfield over the summer after agreeing to join MLS side LA Galaxy, and recent reports have linked him with a shock loan-move back to Liverpool.
However, Gerrard has revealed that despite returning to train with his former-club, he won’t be completing a loan-move back and intends to play no games for them.
Gerrard Confirms Return
Speaking to BT Sport, the midfielder confirmed he will return to Melwood in order to train with the first-team and to work with Jurgen Klopp.
Gerrard told BT Sport: “Yeah next week I’m going to go in for a couple of weeks and work with Mr Klopp.
“I’m looking really forward to that, see what he’s about and try and learn a few things off him.”
