The playmaker would prefer move to the Blues over Man United

Arda Turan would rather join Chelsea over Man United.

Sources close to the 28-year old claim that he would much rather make the move to Stamford Bridge, as he would like to work under Jose Mourinho.

It is bound to be a huge blow to the Red Devils, who have been keen to sign the Atletico Madrid man over the past few weeks.

Despite Turan wanting a move to The Bridge over Old Trafford, Turan has been advised to snub Chelsea in order to join United by European football expert, Andy Brassell.

Brassell has said: “Everyone should be interested in him, including Chelsea,” he told talkSPORT.

“This guy is an unbelievable player.

“He made a huge difference in those even Madrid derbies that Atletico won. He’s got great energy and is adaptable.

“He wants to come to the Premier League and my gut feeling tells me [he’ll move to] Manchester United. They’re the most likely and that’s the fit for him.”

A deal could include Filipe Luis

Turan is valued at around ÂŁ29m and Louis Van Gaal is more than willing to pay around that amount to try and seal a deal for the Turkey international, who wants to leave Madrid.

Chelsea on the other hand aren’t believed to be as willing to pay such a high amount for him and could instead try to make a cash plus player bid for Turan.

The player who would be included in the exchange deal would be Filipe Luis, who has fallen out of favour in England.
