Manchester United manager David Moyes is confident that youngster Adnan Januzaj can cope with the pressure and the toughness of the Premier League.
The 18-year-old burst onto the scene earlier this season after he scored two goals against Sunderland in the club’s 2-1 victory and he was also impressive during their 3-2 win on Saturday against Stoke City.
Januzaj is expected to feature in United’s Capital One Cup game against Norwich City and Moyes believes despite being young, he is ready for the toughness of the English game.
Moyes said: ‘If ever there was a boy who can take it, it will be him.
‘You just hope the referees give him the correct protection, and I’m sure they will, but he won’t be moaning about it – he’s a great lad and he’ll bounce up and get on with it.
‘You can kick him as hard as you like and it won’t affect him.’
