This has put Manchester United on red alert as Blind has been one of Louis Van Gaal’s key targets throughout this summer’s transfer window and a deal for the 24 year old Dutchman could now be a certainty after comments made from the manager of Ajax’s youth team, Richard Witschge.
‘I think Daley Blind will be leaving soon. I have a feeling,’ he stated to a Dutch media coverage group.
‘Theres something going on; he’s been training on his own’.
Barcelona are also interested in the Dutch Footballer of the Year, and reports suggest that Ajax will only accept an offer of £17m for Blind.
