Since the Premier League’s inception, at the start of the 1992–93 season, 29 players have scored 100 or more goals in the competition.

During the 1995–96 season, Alan Shearer became the first player to score 100 Premier League goals, and holds the record for the fewest games taken to reach 100, doing so in 124 appearances. He also holds the record for the top premier league goal scorers of all time. After Shearer, Harry Kane is the second-fastest to 100 goals, doing so in 141 games. Leslie Ferdinand (born 8 December 1966) is an English former professional footballer and currently the 8th greatest Premier League goalscorer of all time. He is also the club coach and director of Queens Park Rangers.

A striker, his playing career included spells at Queens Park Rangers, Beşiktaş, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Bolton Wanderers, Reading and Watford during which period he earned 17 caps for England. He is also the cousin of brother-duo Rio Ferdinand and Anton Ferdinand.

Michael Owen is an English former footballer who played as a striker for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City, as well as for the England national team. He became England’s youngest goalscorer in 1998. Now the Englishman is living his life as a sports pundit and commentator.

He is regarded as one of the best Liverpool players of all time and Owen came 14th in the “100 Players Who Shook The Kop”, which is an official Liverpool fan poll.

Jermain Colin Defoe is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Scottish Premiership club Rangers. Defoe has also played for the England national team. He is currently the eighth-highest goalscorer in Premier League history and also the sixth-highest goalscorer in Tottenham’s history. He also holds the record of scoring the second-fastest hat-trick in the Premier League.
