Max Allegri Will Consider Arsenal Job according to reports in UK.
Juventus’ Charismatic boss Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly agreed to take over the reins at Arsenal if under-fire boss Arsene Wenger is sacked at the end of this season.
The Turin based manager has earlier been heavily linked to the Arsenal and Chelsea job but rumours have been now overwritten after Juventus’ recent remarkable victory over Tottenham in the Champions League. However, Allegri, who is under contract with Juventus until June 2020, insists that he has no plans to join Arsenal this summer after his side’s famous win at Wembley.
Reports say that Allegri is learning English and privately told friends he would consider Arsenal job if offerred this summer.
Old school Allegri, known for his tactical skills and no nonsense approach remains the first choice for the Arsenal top job as the Gunners hierarchy considers ending the Frenchman’s long reign at the end of this season after a string of dismal performances. But Gunners have to fight off their local rivals Chelsea for Allegri’s signature with Conte’s exit talks heating up.
Wenger’s current Arsenal contract is set to expire at the end of the 2018-19 season. The Gunners currently are struggling in sixth place in the table – 13 points adrift of Champions League spots.
