Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he cannot say for certain wether winger Angel Di Maria will remain at the club.
The Argentine superstar has been heavily linked with moves to both Paris Saint German and Manchester United this summer, but it is believed that United are current front-runners.
Reports today have suggested that United are preparing an outstanding amount of money to Madrid and Di Maria to secure a deal to sign the wanted man.
It is understood that Van Gaal is willing to offer Madrid £100 million pounds in order to get the ball rolling on a deal to bring the player to Old Trafford.
And boss Louis van Gaal will be further encouraged by Ancelotti’s latest comments on the player’s future.
‘I’m not entering into the issue Di Maria, because I’ll lose focus in the game [against Atletico on Tuesday],’ he said.
‘I do not know what he has decided, just know that he is ready to play tomorrow, and until August 31 will be here in principle.
‘If from there he stays or is no longer, we will think about it later.’
