Wolfsburg midfielder not happy to see ex-club struggle

Andre Schurrle has revealed he’s not happy seeing Chelsea struggling in the Premier League – despite leaving them for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

The German international failed to make the grade at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho and left in January to join Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

However, Schurrle does keep track of his former-club’s results and he’s admitted that he doesn’t like seeing them struggle in the Premier League.

Mourinho‘s men have already lost four games in the league, winning just two, and Schurrle has revealed he still talks to several players from the club and wants them to improve as soon as possible.

Schurrle Backs Chelsea to Improve

“I am not happy that Chelsea is in this position,” Schurrle told Goal.

“I still like this club and the players because I am still in touch with them.

“I am not happy that they are there. But I think with their quality and with this manager they will get back to the top.”
