Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira insists that he is still has a future at Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old also revealed that both Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba have been in close contact with him during his loan.

Pereira is currently on loan at La Liga side Granada, after failing to secure a sport in the Red Devils first-team over pre-season.

The Brazil U23 international has featured in every game for Lucas Alcaraz’s side since joining them in the summer, but has failed to win a single game in Spain – with the club sitting rock bottom in the league table.

However, he still believes he has plenty more years to come at the Theatre of Dreams.

“I speak to Paul Pogba and a lot of the other players,” the attacking midfielder told the Manchester Evening News.

“I ask how they’re doing, wish them luck. My plan is to get more experience here, to get into that rhythm of playing every week at a high level, then go back stronger to United, with a better football knowledge.

“With each game I feel like I’m getting better and better. I think I have a good future at United and the people at the club give me confidence that, that is the case too.”

On his relationship with Mourinho, he added: “He sent me a message a couple of weeks ago asking how everything was going. You appreciate that when you’re away on loan.”

Pereira is on loan at Granada until the end of the season, but it is likely that he may have the opportunity to squeeze into United’s first-team next summer – especially with the team currently struggling to come up with positive results.
